Do you become an artist or is the artist already present?

“In the need of searching a purpose in life, one thing is for sure, during the process of creating, all questions disappear.

‘Every human is an artist who creates his own life and being’, said Friedrich Nietzsche.

Every day I try to form and shape my life in the way it meets the best form of myself.

As a psychologist I built my own company helping people to find their own original forms.

By studying and processing art I am trying to find my own most original form of who I am. Stripped of frills that are not mine. Discomposed from motivations that are not pure.

Michelangelo once said, “the perfect sculpture is already there and complete within the marble block, I just have to chisel away the superfluous material.”

HOGENT offers me a place where I can wonder and wander between my own superfluous material. Under the guidance of professional teachers I hope to break through barriers that I am not capable of doing myself, as development is in essence a very naked and vulnerable process.

I am looking forward to this next chapter!”
